I want to make smoothies but don't want a lot of sugar from the base, help? (self.starbucksbaristas)

The base is essentially liquid sugar.. but it's hard to get a smoothie right because we don't really have yogurt (unless you pay for it). Anyone have any recipes they've made?

Use as little bit of the cloud powder too. I mean a little bit, like a half a scoop. The xanthum gum in it will act as an emulsifier, much like the fats in the yogurt. Also...see my post about fun drinks from yesterday. It has my "smoothie" recipe in it.

i like to blend everything with a banana, + light ice. the banana helps it blend much much easier, and goves it a smoother texture, and less ice means less chunks (:

i love a strawberry creme frappuccino, 1 pump base (you could do none if you prefer) light ice, raspberry syrup, add a banana (: heavy cream if you're feeling spontaneous, the heavy cream gives frappuccino's a nice texture as well.
