Today I got a mobile order for an iced London fog tea latte but I’ve never made one before. I managed to put a drink together but can anyone tell me how it should be made so I know next time? I guess this goes for any brewed tea lattes.

Steep 2 tea bags in a short cup to five minutes. Then use it in the shaker like any other shaken tea. I’d think it’s still half water half milk? And half pumps of syrup.

People are going to be so mad about this, but I just use the black iced tea. ^_^
I love hot London Fog Lattes and I personally love it just as well made iced with the black tea we have ready to go. :p
It’s definitely not standard, but it will get you by in a pinch. Try it yourself with soy! So good. <3

A partner at my store said his friend does this with a different syrup (I don’t remember which) and says it tastes just like milk tea lol

Steep in a short cup, pour over ice in a shaker with syrup, shake it and top with milk. I make these for myself all the time.

By new standard recipes, you steep your tea in a short cup for 5 minutes...you will use your shaker so the tea should go up to the top of the “tea” line. Once you’ve got that and your syrup in there, you’d add milk to the top of the “water” line top it off with ice and a good shake. That’s all it is!

If your store uses the iPads, under the section that has the seasonal recipes one launched with spring. It’s not an iced London fog exactly, but it iced tea lattes.
I personally and a lot of us in my store use the metal pour over container because it has measurements for iced sizes. But a short cup works just as well.

Yeah I managed to find that recipe few days after posting this. Never thought to use the poor over pitcher though. Good idea!

I was taught to steep the tea bags in the measuring pitcher that you use for pour overs for five minutes. Then follow the lines that you would for iced coffee.

Thanks so much! Does ice still count for water in the half water half milk equation?
