How to get aprons to not smell like milk??? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by heatherhalo
I've worked at Starbucks for about 2 years now. Overtime my aprons have been through a lot. Right now, no matter how much I wash them, they smell like old milk. The problem is I have to be careful using harsh detergents because my skin is very sensitive. Any suggestions?

White vinegar and warm water. Soak them for a good half hour then wash. I do this a couple times a year on top of regular hand washing to get them super fresh.

Ask for new aprons

I work at a licensed store. They don't even like us calling in work orders because of the money they have to spend. If the espresso machine breaks, We try to fix it first before getting a manager approval to call it in.

Are there any random extra aprons hanging around? I work at a licensed store and we have waaaay more aprons hanging in the back than there are employees. Maybe try to find the cleanest one and take it?

Adding baking soda into the washer machine might help
