Does anyone know how to properly wash the aprons. I was just getting a new one for the week and all the ones I washed smelled like vomit, literally. I usually wash them with my color clothes but might start washing then separate. How do you guys wash yours to not get that smell ?

I literally just wash it with the rest of my things. It doesn’t bleed. And since they’re meant to deal with coffee and milk stains, they’re pretty sturdy clothing material. Might want to put a little stain remover on the stains though , I have a hard time getting sharpie stains out.

Rubbing alcohol works wonders. Pour some on with a paper towel underneath and it should come out.

I hand wash mine in my kitchen sink. Soak in hot water with a splash of vinegar, quick massage with antibacterial dish soap, rinse and hang dry. Takes like 2 minutes after work and doesn't beat the apron up like a machine would.

Tide Sport with Febreeze is AMAZING for getting that rotten milk smell out!

Alright. Get a bucket, or a large container. It's about to go down.
Dishwash soap. Boiling water. Container/Bucket. Apron. Put the boiling water inside the bucket/container, dishwash soap, !!!DON'T MIX!!!. Put the apron inside and gently move it around until you see bubbles coming about. Now, it's getting rural.
Take a bit of material from left side, a bit from right side, using your both hands, put them together and then guess what? BOOM! Rub like Joebadaya was rubbing his clothes at the river.
After that, cleanse it and rinse it with cold water, let it dry. Next day, it will be like new.
If you have a washing machine, put it at 90° without drying, with your regular washing machine detergent and after let it dry.
Good luck and God help you if you have to make Mocha Frappucinos!

I wash them like normal with color clothes. I add a bit of Amonia to the load to boost the detergent. My black aprons come out like new! (I also regularly wash the abandoned, putrid aprons left in BOH the same way)
