So every partner in my store besides my SM is lazy AF and it makes me go crazy. I know one of POS’ jobs to do after the morning peak is to flex to CBS but sometimes I’ll be helping 3-4 guests at front so the person on bar has to go and make the cold drinks but after I finish I look back and it’s a mess! There are used pitchers, Refresher Bases opened and the stations has not been wiped down or anything! They leave milks out on both Bar and CBS, they don’t connect with the guests, and my SSVs aren’t saying anything about it. All while they are talking and not wiping anything down. I am very much by the book working here because I want to become a SM one day so when I see someone not doing there job I just wish I could become the play caller and send them home.
You shouldn’t be working at Starbucks if you can’t even follow the basic steps that YOUR BOSS tells you to do. Like making a cold beverage in proper sequence.

To be fair, if you're busting out drink after drink with no pause, there is not time to take a rag to the counter until you get a short lull.

You see I understand having the bar all messy with refresher base and what not while making drinks, what I am dealing with is open milks and used pitchers and opened refresher boxes and stuff like that lying around. So my cold bar is cluttered in the afternoon/night. All I want is for them to not leave the bar in complete chaos when they’re done with it.
I am so close to transferring to a store that’s run by a master SM that’s near me but the only thing keeping me from leaving is my loyalty to my SM regardless if they’re bad or not. I think I’ll give them like one more year and if nothing changes I’ll transfer.

Sometimes things get messy in a rush and that’s ok. Do they not clean up afterwards? Maybe you should work on getting promoted so you can have more of an impact.

Clean as you go regardless if it’s busy or not.

It bothers me that they are not following up to code and the Starbucks standard.
