A shift and barista at my store are dating. They dont work at the same time that's certain and that's the first case ive ever come across but this new store is very dysfunctional in ways more concerning their very cute and wholesome relationship so i could care less

Not at all. I mean if it were to go past being friends and something more physical, then they would move one of you to another store.

I think it can be a problem potentially but when you work with so few people it doesn’t really matter. I think it can be bad if the store manager is too friendly with the baristas but that’s mostly just going to bite the SM in the ass from disrespect or lines getting crossed. I think it’s just important to respect your friends position and not make things harder than they need to be. If you are the supervisor then you need to make sure you aren’t favouring your friends because then other baristas will lose respect for you and not want to work with you.
