The first one sounds a little like hot Apple Kvas or an apple toddy. They’re fairly common in eastern Russia and are considered an extremely healthy way to perk up. They make them with boiling apple cider, yeast, molasses, and instant coffee and they’re only about 75% as gross as they sound.

Honestly, with wind feeing like 500° below zero and being all bundled up, sipping it can be a bit of a magical experience. It’s tart but not offensive and there’s almost a terroir effect with the harsh environment around you. You also hear a lot “don’t drink that, it’s got alcohol in it and makes people go blind” so there’s the excitement of possible blindness, too.

Trenta ice coffee with 60 (not a typo) pumps sfvanilla, blended 5 times with a splash of almond milk. Then she takes the two trenta cups we have to put it in and dumps the rest of our cinnamon and sugar packets into them.

every day i work, this lady orders a venti hot chocolate with whole milk, 9 pumps vanilla, 6 pumps mocha, and 180 degrees. every once in a while she will ask for more syrup.

Someone mobile ordered just yesterday a venti matcha Frappuccino with a banana, frappe chips, 6 scoops of matcha, no whip, only 2 pumps of frappe creme syrup, and I think soy milk. There was some left over, I tried it. It was gross and I like matcha.
