First of all, notify the hell out of your DM. They don't have to do anything, but apprise them of the situation. If you do not trust them to have your back with your SM, then have the hotline on speed dial.

Line up a store to transfer to. Talk to the manager of the new store and get them to want you. There are two reasons she (as far as policy allows) can deny your transfer request:
1. She is desperately short staffed and will not be able to run it if she let's you go
2. If you are on your last written warning.

That. Is IT. Any other reason does not stand within Starbucks standards and you need to escalate.

You can find the transfer form yourself on the partner hub, use the search engine. Fill it out and leave it on your managers desk. Take a picture, take note of the timestamp.

Alert your DM that they should be receiving a transfer form from your manager, and have them check in with your manager to see how it's coming along. It also may help to have the manager of the store you want to go to check in with her too.

Literally get as many people on her ass about it as possible, and ask for specific reasons why she won't. Maybe you'll get lucky and shell say something that will kick her in the ass later.

That's all I got, boo. Best of luck!

Your second reason listed above for possibly having a transfer denied is not entirely correct. The partner handbook states that in order to transfer, a partner must be in "good standing with the company" and it is up to the store manager to determine what "good standing" constitutes. For instance, I tied to transfer a partner to a different district once and they would not take him based on the fact that he had overdue training modules in my learning. Simple fix, had him finish the modules and then they took him. I have also taken a transfer from another store who had been put straigt on final for a single egregious error, but I knew the barista in question and both I and his prior SM both agreed he was a great partner who had just made a bad judgment call once and hadn't let it happen again.

But if I was a shitty sm who was into denying transfer requests(for petty reasons, I have denied transfer requests made by lazy or shitty partners. I am not going to transfer my problem into your store), there is actually a large amount of gray area where I could say, this barista is not in "good standing." Training completion, attitude, doesn't follow dress code to the letter, doesn't follow routines to the letter etc... Which definitely sucks when your stuck in a bad store with a shitty manager.

Ooooh, thank you! I did not know that. I no longer work for the company, and that's what I was told when I was there, but I failed to look into the wording myself so I honestly appreciate you clearing that up.

I still think, then, that OP should get a clear list of what they need to improve on to make them "in good standing", try everything they can to get a clear road ahead. If they need to improve, fine, but they need to know *where*. This 'oooohhhh you're not ready' vague shit gets everybody involved absolutely nowhere.

Sounds like time to talk to your DM.

Yeah talk to your DM or call the hotline. Starbucks supposedly cares about the partners, so I'm sure they'll fix it
