The other day I got a cold that was kicking my butt with a migraine, a crazy bad sore throat and a fever. So I called in sick around 5am so they would have time to find cover.

I explained to my shift that I had a really bad headache, sore throat, and a fever after he mentioned I was the second person to call in that day. After hearing this he said “Hey it’s okay we’ll figure it out, don’t worry about it”

Then I get a text from my store manager saying “Hey [shift] told me you had a seizure and had to go to the hospital? Are you okay?”
To which I replied “I’m fine! It was just a fever, not a seizure”

And now several coworkers have come to me asking if I’m okay, then I explain again that I only had a fever. lol.

At least I know now that if I did have a seizure, they would all be very supportive!

P.S. I would just like to say that if you do in fact suffer from seizures or any other life threatening health complications, I hope you’re doing okay and that your store is being supportive in accommodating you.
