I’m enrolled now, the classes are pretty independent. The professors assign “class work” in the form of pre recorded lecture videos, readings, etc. homework assignments vary depending on major. I wouldn’t describe the environment as “one on one” although the professors are very helpful and the college offers a lot of services to support students who attend college online.
The classes run in 7 week sessions versus a traditional 12 week semester, so they are fast paced but you have 6 sessions year round to take courses. And you get your tuition reimbursement in your paycheck at the end of the semester, after your grades post.
Be wary of committing to the program if you don’t want to stay at Starbucks long term. I liked the job a lot when I enrolled in the program, fast forward 2 years later and I am counting down the days to graduation and my inevitable resignation.
Also stay in contact with your advisor, and keep track of your degree progress. When I was set to graduate, my degree requirements changed to use the remaining credits that Starbucks covered in the program and now I am being forced to take 6 more credits for no clear reason.
I can only speak from my experience with SCAP, and although I have thoroughly enjoyed the independent education provided by ASU online, it is a big commitment so you should definitely think it through!

I attempted to enroll to finish up some gen ed classes I needed for my degree rather then taking them at my university. Free > $5000+ a semester. Ended up not taking classes at ASU it would have cost me some $ and the semester timing was weird imo
