Been there. You can keep your job. You just need to be the bigger person. And apologize. Everyone has things they go thru. I no called no showed 5 years ago. And I remember feeling so so horrible. No matter what the reason is, it will only suck for a little to end up having a really good future. I would just call and apologize or even better go in and apologize and I’m a week no one will talk about it or care. Just promise it won’t happen again! Don’t give up!!! I’m a 6 year partner now and I look back at that day and it totally sucked but everyone was just more worried than anything.

I slept in because I forgot about it :( I would’ve worked 13 hours on 6 hours of sleep. Maybe it was for the best.

Aw noooooo shit like that definitely happens! I'm sure if you apologize and just say you forgot you'll be okay! We've had two different partners at my store totally forget they were working and never showed up even after we called them a bunch. It happens and we all moved on, so I'm sure you're store will do the same!!
