A written warning only a month into working here, is it just me or is that extreme? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I would call the store ahead- texting your manager isn’t necessarily helpful because that assumes that a) they are at work and b) they are looking at their cell phone
If you’re being scheduled outside your availability you should talk to your manager about that and if they say tough shit or whatever than I would contact your DM
Dress code is tricky- grey is within standards but maybe it was the type of pant, it’s so wish washy and confusing now it’s mostly up to the discretion of manager. Most managers have hard no’s for wrong colours and athletic pants but it can become really confusing for colours within the spectrum like beige, blues, and grey.
Definitely worth following up with manager and DM, seems a bit harsh to hire you and then immediately set on a path to fire you :/

You shouldn’t get fired, but I would have a sit down with your SM and ask what specifically you can do to avoid these instances in the future.
He sounds like he’s just being a dick so I would tread lightly until you know what rules he likes to be a stickler on
