Advice for approaching new bitchu manager (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by remmboi
She's started scheduling people outside of their availabilities- including me. I haven't worked with her at all, but I've heard from everyone that has she's a cunt. How do I approach her about her scheduling me outside of my availability? Next time she schedules me a day I need off I'm not going in. I checked the partner hub- it's all there.

As soon as a schedule is written that has you working very clearly outside of your availability, take a picture and email it to the person above them and explain 1)this keeps happening and 2) how your manager has been told multiple times and continues to do it.

If you read other posts about this or call partner contacts, they are allowed to schedule out outside your availability. I think not going in is what I would do too, but it’s also means for termination. Just be careful.

They’re allowed to do it once in a while, not all the time

And they should be asking or notifying you when they do it

Ya my co worker and I are at work and I asked her cause my manager does it she said she called partner contacts and they said she has the right to do it when ever.... which is bullshit. So I dunno I would prob talk to the manager or transfer if it keeps happening

Talk to your DM, PCC told me the same thing but when I called my DM she wasn’t happy about my manager scheduling me outside my availability without letting me know and my manager got in trouble

Okay I will that’s ridiculous we have lives outside of Starbucks and they shouldn’t of taken us at their store if they couldn’t work with the availability handed to them
