Pour milk into the shaker to the top of the water/juice line, add the matcha, add ice to the ice line, shake.

They want it to be shaken now. When I used to work for a licensed store it was milk and ice in the cup with the matcha on top then swirl. But shaking it, mixes it so much better. I now work for a corporate store, and I was taught to shake it.

We stir vigorously and shake to stop it from clumping. Let me tell you, as a customer it makes a HUGE difference.

I shake it in the shaker without the ice to get the matcha mixed in properly, then add the ice.

When you shake it with the ice it tends to just do that clumping together thing around the ice.

They updated the recipe to be made in the shaker, it was in the sirens eye, what I call the Monday news.
