Jeff, I love Jeff. He gets a grande hot chocolate with no vanilla or chocolate drizzle, and two shots of espresso. I’ve told him before “so a mocha?” “No, not a mocha”. He’s so stupid. I love him.

That’s awesome haha

I've watched Chris evolve from a "medium coffee, none of that fancy shmancy marcachino frapalapachino business" to a "triple grande non fat no whip extra hot white mocha"

Tall hot blonde: dude will talk to me for hours about music

Tall black coffee (with literally a drop of coconut milk): always slips a $10 out. Learned he owns a pizzeria that hand makes all the product

We get super cool people who come in, it’s always great hearing their life stories

We have 2 guys, same name, complete opposite personalities that we distinguish one by his drink (quad shot...he also gets a coffee and uses tons of sugar to make what he calls Cuban coffee) and another who works for tasty cake. Tasty cake is a sweetheart and sometimes brings us treats from the factory. Quad shot and I have become decent friends outside of the store.

One woman who is in the Air Force, we all adore her cause she’s literally the sweetest person on the planet. I always know when I hear her order (and her mustang) in DT. She gave me a pin of the plane she works on and I proudly wear it on my visor. She thought it was corny to gift me but I almost teared up that she cared enough.

Myself and another SSV, along with our SM, are transferring next month to a brand new DT store opening up nearby and I keep trying to steal our regulars. We’ve got quite a few who really make our days shine. (lucky me, most of them live by our store now but work near our new store so I’ll actually get to see them sometimes!!)

Love em:
tall black iced tea: loves to show me pictures of her dog, talks a lot but we love her

Venti hot cocoa: crazy old uncle who probably would slip you a $20 for no reason, sits quietly in the cafe and then leaves without a trace

Starbucks double shot: never remembers what his drink is called, super nice 10/10 would recommend, always happy to see us

Oliver comes in every day with his girlfriend and orders a Pike Place.

For the past month, the girlfriend has done nothing but stand there and smile.

Recently she started asking him for a coffee so it was cute to see her come out of her shell.

Then, I saw her come in with friends, and found out her name is Julia! She seemed so much happier without him and ordering by herself. But then the next day she came back with Oliver.

At least I got to see her happy, maybe one day she’ll walk in with him with a smile on her face because she’s definitely happier with her friends!

We have a regular who is known for being kind of grumpy and weird but recently he has been nice to me! All of my coworkers are confused about why we get along, and I’m honestly not quite sure myself, but I’m glad I can be his barista friend! 😂

Most regulars at my store are our best and nicest customers! 💕

It’s hit or miss with ours, but we have a guy like that who just sits in the corner reading comics. Cool guy, barely talks, but I can get a good convo going with him. Nerds bonding and such

My location gets a lot of interesting regulars. Hello to anyone who recognizes this location!

1. The guy only I seem to remember. Comes in and always asks for hot water. We’re not allowed to give out hot water due to it being ‘weaponized’ in the past. Sometimes he throws a fit. Once he pretended to shoot all of us and yelled “bang” really loud for each person. He left and we called the cops. Later his wife came in yelling about “why did we call the cops, he got taken away”. He still comes in, seems to be doing a little better.

2. The guy that orders just drop coffee and gets a few refills throughout the day. Steals a newspaper, and while you have your back turned to get his coffee, will steal the madelines.

3. The guy that has to get a Pike Place roast pour over. Not freshly brewed, not on the clover. A pour over.

4. The lady who bought a bunch of protein boxes on Sunday for a meeting on Monday, then brought them all in on Thursday to return them because everyone at the meeting “heard about the fruit recalls and refused to eat them. She went to headquarters and they said we could give her a refund”. (We did not give her a refund. There were zero news articles I could find about a recent recall due to fruit with Starbucks.)

5. The guy that has a printout of his order that he pulls out of his wallet instead of saying it every time. He also preps his cup himself with sugars. He’s chill.

6. The group of guys that run through a whole pitcher of iced coffee when they come through. Also super chill.

7. The Engineer. Doesn’t order much, but when she comes in sometimes she’ll hang out collecting cups and sleeves and builds statues. Rants about the government holding her down. Refuses to give her name when she gets a drink and always has her sunglasses on.

The list goes on. It’s a bit of strange (rough) area, having to call the cops pretty regularly and have quite the growing list of people who have been trespassed. But I do love most of our regulars. It’s a tight neighborhood with everyone dealing with the same issues.

There’s a regular that comes in every morning with a tall cup from the day before and tries to get refills. There’s another that comes in that reloads his card with $5 every time and usually gets a cold brew or a hot or iced tea and then will ask for a refill of cold brew or iced tea, leave the store for a solid few hours, and then try and get more refills

I work at a Barnes and Noble café. Since we sell Starbucks products but aren’t an actual one, we can even refill Starbucks drinks. We get the same guy every once and a while who tries to refill a grande coffee, we tell him we can’t do it, then he’s back in a couple weeks haha

I have a regular who is one of the most respected reporters in my state, and he offered to help my s/o with his journalism career :')

I’m friends with many of my regulars on facebook! Working in a mall let’s us see mostly the same people everyday. They’ll even visit us just to chat on their breaks (and get a water).
One used to have the last name of Starr (maiden name) but I still decorate her cup all over with stars.
One made sure to walk over and introduce me to her new girlfriend.
One writes thank you notes when she tips if she doesn’t see me.
A couple people refuse to give their names. It’s been 1.5 years and I still don’t know their names despite seeing them every other day.

There’s this lady who orders something different every time she comes in and she will take a sip and say it was made wrong or something and she’ll have it remade a bunch of times till she is absolutely satisfied.
I didn’t believe my co workers till she stopped by during one of my shifts.... she was in the drive through....
