sucking at things sucks. And honestly, don't expect to feel comfortable on bar for at least three months. That's not meant to discourage, that's meant to prepare - everyone knows how hard it is to get good at, and everyone understands. When you make mistakes, just apologize, and either 1: fix it or 2: ask how you can fix it, then fix it. You have so much time where your partners should be very understanding, and even customers tend to soften a lot if you just say, "Hey, thanks for your patience, I'm still learning the ropes at this store."
And don't be afraid to laugh at yourself. Every time you make a mistake it can ether be a, "Oh, I understand I made this mistake, how can I go above and beyond to make it right," a, "Haha wow that's inconvenient but actually kinda hilariou.. i'll do better next time," or a, "Fuck me I'm so stupid I can't do anything right all my partners think i'm a moron and this customer is yelling at me i.should.just.quit." That choice is yours. :)
Edit: It's yours barring spectacularly horrible coworkers. Haha
