Being able to a analyze myself so closely now I see I need to end my stir at the edge to spread my Rosetta out more.

Nice! Have you ever gotten in trouble for being your own milk pitcher in? I bring my Rattleware pitcher in to practice (cause it’s so much better!) but I’m always worried my SM is going to tell me it’s illegal... do you know the official policy on that?? I always wash and sanitize it very well before using fyi

No, my manager loves the passion I bring. The only concern is if the inspectors came in with it out on the bar and I wasn’t there to say it’s for training only. I keep it and that mug in the back as my store has a few other partners who love to train daily. I also love to coach and encourage other partners to learn. Seeing the epiphany “I did it!” Moment always makes me super happy!

I love that ‘ah ha’ moment too! I came to Starbucks from an indie shop and these new gigantic pitchers really took some getting used to. It takes more effort for me to generate milk of lesser quality ☹️ Still art worthy, but not consistent lol. The first day I brought my own gear for personal use it was such a breath of fresh air. I’m glad I’m not the only dork that does this!!!

In order to legally use it behind the counter in my area it must have the “NSF” stamp on it. With that said, I use my motta every now and then.

That pitcher is 13 years old. I got it to use when I first started at Starbucks, it still has the “whole milk” sticker Starbucks used to use as my manager then said that was her only requirement for me to use it.

Sweet! Mottas are so beautiful, but they are expensive. It’s definitely an investment tho! Thanks for the info 😁
