Hoping to Work at Starbucks - Tips? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hi all! I’m looking to join a Starbucks near me as a barista, and was hoping I could get some tips from some of the barista pros (or new hires!) on applying/interviewing. I’ve never worked at a coffee shop, but I have worked in restaurant and retail industries. Any tips?

the most important thing is persistence! i applied 3 times and called every 3 days before i was hired. and a tip for the interview: starbucks store managers love love love to hear about potential hires enjoying human connection and caring about others. those are probably the most heavily-weighted factors in starbucks interviews

those 3 times were just at my store, i applied once to a few other locations. when you apply you’re likely going to be put on a list for stores in that district to hire from. glad i could help and good luck!

This is the video I watched the night before my interview and it helped so much!! My manager was wildly impressed with how much time and research I dedicated to the interview and could tell I was passionate about wanting to get the job 😂🙌🏻 $1
