If you are being scheduled against your availability, you have talked to your SM, and your availability generally meets business needs, please call partner resources or your DM directly. You can not call them simply saying “I’m the only one that closes”, this will not suffice. Use lingo about availability, being scheduled against it, and having multiple conversations with the SM. Although if there’s only two shifts with availability to close and you’re one of them, it’s likely you will close a lot. Encourage your SM to re-evaluate the availability of their SSVs and hire to business needs. Any other concerns or more in-depth response PM me.

They’ve stressed that all shifts need to have open availability. 5 other shifts have almost complete open availability :-/

Talk to your SM. I guarantee it’s not a punishment or anything. If it feels like it might be, then call partner resources.

As a Closer for 3 years now, and also on my first year as a shift supervisor, we only have 2 closing shifts as well. One of us goes to school full time and is usually available 3 nights a week, sometimes less. I work 2 jobs, so whenever I do get the chance to be off I’d like to see my gf who lives the next city over, but because only 2 of us close it doesn’t allow for a lot of coverage when we need it. it’s pretty wack, you’re entitled to feel annoyed

I feel for you and I’m sorry that’s so shitty. This company has a lot of benefits but all this stuff seems to be happening EVERYWHERE.
