You just have to let it roll off. Sometimes people are having a terrible day and a simple, innocuous mistake on your part is the last straw for them. Most bad reviews are for getting orders wrong, or the drink “doesn’t taste right”—yes Karen going from 5 pumps to 2 in a venti iced caramel macchiato will make the flavor different.
The fact that you care about bad reviews shows your heart is in the right place.

When I used to work at a salad shop i used to be the salad maker, one night it was just two of us working (other person taking order/ register) so I had a kale salad with a fine chop. I made the salad and started chopping, 5 seconds later a lady starts yelling hysterically. I look up and she says I have chopped it too much and just cause she asked for fine chop doesn’t mean I should’ve chopped it that much. I apologized and let her know I do multiple fine chop kale salads on the daily including my own and that I’m willing to remake the salad with a regular chop. She said the damage is already done and demanded the salad I had already made. So I get home and I usually check my reviews, she left a one star review saying she had to yell at me to stop and that she hated her salad. Anyway long story short you can’t please everyone, sometimes people take out their bad day on customer service people. It’s shitty but remember, atleast you aren’t the one going around trying to ruin other people’s jobs.
