I learned last week that, by law, I’m supposed to refuse a customer after 12 shots of espresso in the same day. You know, like, when you refuse to serve drunk patrons in a bar... Was kinda shocked tbh.

We do have laws like that here in the US. It's illiterate to sell over 5 shots to someone in one drink because they can have a heart attack on your property. If that happens -they- can sue you for giving them the caffeine, even though they knew of the side affect. It's stupid, but something I learned at a Coffee House I first worked at. She had to know all the laws she could as not to lose her store as she was already struggling to stay afloat. A lawsuit was the last thing she needed.

I have a regular that mobile offers 6 long shots in a grande cup topped off with heavy cream. Might as well pill the machine in the middle of peak while I’m at it.

I don’t know why people don’t understand that it takes time for the machine to pull the shots. I guess they assume if you push a button espresso comes out and don’t really fill in the blank with what that entails.

18-23 seconds for each double shot if the shots are pouring in the right time range. That’s 72-92 seconds for 8 shots. Aka your drive thru times ruined already not including any other steps in the beverage.

Yup came to say the same about shot times. We have a regular that orders 6 venti Starbucks double shots on ice. He’s cool though, he’ll make it as a mobile and goes shopping then comes back so we always have some time to make them.

If it’s anything like what I do, It’s not for one sitting, it’s to last the whole day and refuel when you crash from the last portion of the drink. Started having to make drinks like this on my way to my second job so I didn’t fall asleep on my feet

Lmao I used to drink 3-5 quad undertows a shift when I first started, my hands started to shake to much so I had to cut back after like 2 months of that. I drink maybe two shots a shift now but I put them in match frap which adds a little extra caffeine. Good times

Could you please add 8 espresso shots to the protein chocolate banana smoothie. As well as 10 extra scoops of your protein powder (when we still carried this).
