Hey all! So today I tried to experiment and make a drink that would taste like banana pudding. I have a cold right now so I didn’t wanna use much dairy, so I used soy milk. Basically, this was my recipe to make a grande:
-soy milk
-banana
-2 vanilla syrup
-graham topping
-caramel drizzle
-no base (it seemed unnecessary and it had a good consistency without it)
I found that while it tasted good, it did not taste sweet enough, almost like something was missing. When I got to where I could sip up the caramel drizzle, I feel like it tasted more how I would’ve expected it too. And the graham topping was a great addition! Good substitute for vanilla wafers. Y’all have any suggestions on how I could make it better? I was thinking maybe using a pump or two of dark caramel to make that caramel drizzle taste more consistent throughout the entire drink. What do y’all think?
