leaving starbucks (self.starbucksbaristas)

I've decided to leave Starbucks. It's been hard for me to reach this conclusion but I'm just not happy whatsoever at work anymore. I dread the thought of being there. I'm super nervous to quit though. Is it standard to give two weeks notice? I know my manager makes the schedules three weeks out, so I feel rude giving two weeks but I also want to leave asap. Any former partners have advice from their experience leaving Starbucks?

Two weeks is standard. Starbucks is a great first job experience but there’s nothing wrong with you wanting to move on. You got this.

I put my two weeks in and I just stopped showing up. I couldn’t stand being there any longer. I’m 17 and it’s taken a toll on my grades. I’m over it!

Good luck to you!!
