I’m a 265 as well and have already been offered an opportunity to move up to a shift, just work hard, always ask what more you could be doing and if you see somebody else needs another set of hands help out.
Being in the hospitality industry is the same as playing on a team, you’re only as good as your weakest link so just because your new doesn’t mean you can’t be the reason other people enjoy coming to work when they see you on the schedule!
