I had the same problem with my store manager where they kept rolling their eyes at everything I did and would “warn” me to not do certain things before I even clocked in and was trying to enjoy my drink. I had a serious talk with her where I said I was considering quitting because of how toxic the environment at work was getting and that got her to change her attitude a bit - but honestly, if you think you can’t talk with them or have tried to talk to them before, ask for a transfer immediately. This job is stressful enough and having a bad relationship with coworkers is not worth the extra stress.

I’ve only been here for 3 weeks I don’t think Starbucks will let me transfer. It’s just getting to the point where like she’s my mid shift tomorrow and I’m dreading in coming in to work with her. My acting manager (my real sm is on a sabbatical) said she had major issues with her in the past. Almost all of my baristas have said that she’s completely horrible, one of my other shifts said they had originally stepped down because of her (later stepped back up after gaining confidence) and currently 2 of my baristas are leaving soon and have openly said it is because of her. Of my baristas has taken opening off her schedule completely besides 1 day, because she has openly said “I cannot work in the environment that she creates”

If it’s multiple people complaining about the same person either you all gotta lay down the truth on her that she’s making work stressful, honestly I think going to a DM wouldn’t help that much unless it becomes a legal issue.

Also I’m not sure about your location but I’ve had a partner transfer within a month of coming into my store because of “travel” reasons - which wasn’t true she just used that due to having a problem with our manager. When in doubt, saying the commute has gotten way too tough due to moving etc. seems to work.

Go to the o your SM. If they do nothing go to your DM. If they do nothing call PCC asap.

My actual store manager is on a sabbatical, and I did speak to my acting store manager. She even admitted to having issues with this same shift. She’s also at kind of a loss.

Call up your DM as soon as you can. It's in our job description to be able to maintain happy friendly relationships with our coworkers.

It's an offense that can result in termination. It's not good for you and it's not good for customers or other partners to see.

Don't play around with things like this.
