That’s what we told her but apparently she comes here every day and we do this for her. I’m the main opener and I’ve never seen her. Wouldn’t forget that drink either....

What will you do if you win a lottery of 5 billion dollars? I am sure one of the options will be that you like to help others who are in need.
Look at this way now, you have the store all to yourself and barista doesn't count the number of drinks so offer the drink for free or refill it if you think that person over the counter is not well enough or maybe he/she is a student.
Make a small change

It is, though. We don’t earn any labor on refills, so just giving people things absolutely hurts us in the pocketbook.

No one “needs” a free ice tea from starbucks lol its just enabling entitled people with more than enough money to buy a drink try to scam stores out of money
