At one point our ice machine broke last summer. Had to buy readyice for all of our ice for three weeks.

If you have an Ice-o-Matic it should take less than 20mins to drop a sheet of ice. If it doesn’t call in a work order. Make sure nothing is stored on top of your machine. Make sure all fans have ample room for ventilation. Make sure it’s a decent temp in your back room, too hot can cause issues with ice machine. Also a good tip for stores that always run out of ice, tell this information to your DM. You need a bigger ice machine. Also if you always run out of ice and have a crap DM ask if you can get a rolling trash can (usually white) specially dedicated to ice. If you have to go out and grab them it’s a great place to store extra bags that won’t fit in your bins & also easy to refill said bins when needed- you just roll that bad boy out, load up, and roll it back into the back. On Saturday and Sunday we had to send someone to stop and shop to buy ice

This happens to us at least weekly, though the machine is clean and well-maintained. We have to go down the street to the grocery store and buy 8-10 10lb bags of ice. Customers sure do love those iced bevvies in the summer.

Someone has to go get ice usually once a day. And usually it’s 200-250lbs of ice. Oh and our ice machine works great!

Work in a new store.. got one of the bougie new double sized ice machines. Its amaze-balls. I remember the days of happy hour ice runs in the middle of the summer 😂😆
