Posted this in one of the groups on Facebook and thought I would also share it here too....

This happened a while ago but I thought I’d share bc it’s funny.

C: “You guys charge for heavy cream in a venti London fog?”

SM on POS: “Yes, all non dairy plus lactose free, breve and heavy cream we charge extra for”

C: “Every Starbucks I’ve been never charges me for heavy cream because I’m just substituting it.”

SM: “I can definitely not charge you now, but we are suppose to charge for it.”

Some other stuff gets said but I don’t really remember. Something along the lines of how my SM will speak to other stores so we get on the same page.

Then I’m on bar making the drink and we start talking about charging for heavy cream and I say how I’ve always been told we charge for non dairy, heavy cream, lactose free and breve unless it’s anything less than 4oz ie in a iced coffee, cold brew.

Me: *hands off his second drink, which is a venti americano misto*

C: *sucks his teeth* I told her twice that I wanted vanilla in this

Me: “I can absolutely add the vanilla in” *i take his drink add vanilla in it and even stir it with a stir stick bc he’ll probably say something about that.

C: *About to walk away* “Is your manager in today?”

Me: “Yes she is.”

C: “Can I speak to them?”

Me: *looking at my SM who is standing by the pastry case doing something* “Oh she is the manager.”

C: “The one on the register?”

Me: “Yes”

C: “Oh okay” *walks away*

I swear the look on his face was PRICELESS 😂😂

Then I went to tell my SM who was in our back room at this point and she said how she asked him twice about adding anything to the americano misto but he kept going back to the whole heavy cream debacle.
