I start my first day in 5 hours! I can’t sleep and haven’t slept and I’m anxious! I keep reading how hard it is and I came from a job where everything sucked (EMT for a private ambulance company). Any advice? Tips? Stories?

Take it one drink at a time, don’t worry about messing up it happens all the time just fix the drink and apologize! Always ask questions! Don’t stress I’m sure you’ll do great! Remember to breathe especially on front till, your eyes won’t work if you’re stressing out. Tell every customer it’s your first day so they don’t expect you to be quick! Smile and apologize, no biggie you’ll do awesome

Dont be afraid to ask questions, and dont be afraid if you mess something up for a customer to apologize and let them know you're new :) let us know how it went

It was difficult keeping up with the 8 minute cycles but I was working as fast and as hard as I could. I was told I wasn’t doing bad at all. I start making drinks and stuff tomorrow :( I hope I can pick it up fast.

Honestly the customer support cycles are the hardest to get the hang of especially when they're so short. I know at my store we go down to one coffee at 10:30 and they're 30 min cycles and we put our trainees there first to learn until they can do it fast. Maybe your store just tossed u in to see how ud do and what they can expect off the bat

That’s pretty much what they said since about three people quit during my interview process.
