My machine does this randomly all the time. So annoying

Its not randomly! If you punch in a number then a bill button, itll multiply the number by the bill amount. For instance, if you punch 20.00 and then hit the 20$ button, itll do 2000 * 20 and assume the person is paying with 40000$ cash. This is a shortcut way for if the person gives you five 5$ bills, you can punch 5 in the register (shows up as 0.05), then hit the 5$ button and it does the math.

Granted its super useless and I never had to use this and it caused more issues than anything else, its not random and knowing how it happens at least helps not doing it too much 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ah yes, hitting the double zero button for each zero. A tale as old as time.

Ahh the memories. When I was still a green bean, I was cleaning the screen as part of the drive thru card between customers. Before I cleaned the screen however, I pulled up the order for the customer that was about to pull up. I thought I'd just clean the screen real quick and be done. Well, needless to say I ended up with something similar to that; thousands of dollars in change back. I was freaking out, and my SSV was furious. Little did I know, it doesn't really matter what the change in or out is, as long as the drawer balances at the end of the day.
