hi long-ish post here. okay so im a new hire. i had my interview on May 22nd and was basically hired on the spot, like submitted my background check about 2 hours later on the same day. I waited about a week and a half not hearing anything after saying my background check is completed and called. All i got was “i’ll have to call you back later” so like almost another week passes and she finally calls just to tell me on their end it says it hasnt been authorized even though it says completed on my end so she told me she would call the people who do the check and call me back tomorrow.... it’s been almost a week since said tomorrow and havent heard a peep, But the thing is the woman who hired me is just a temp. manager until actual manager comes back and her last day was like friday soooo i dont know what to do i dont know if the actual manager even knows im “hired” so if anyones been through similar frustrations pls tell me what i should do i am so broke and have bills to pay i needed to start earning money like last week so we love anxiety
