and he used a free one on it, I looked at him VERY concerned and repeated “... 16 shots?” to make sure and he said “yes :)”
should there be a limit to ~free ones~ in regards to HEALTH (see: why we don’t make trenta frappuccinos) but also on account of it was at least a $10 drink... I never saw the man after that day but I only hope he is ALIVE AND WELL and living his best life 🥵🥵
I told him as the shots were pulling — for like 5min mind you — “I’m not your physician, I’m just your barista but I would NOT drink this in one sitting”

Idk I drink on average 12 Shots a shift so I aint here To judge 🤷♂️

We have a regular customer that mobile orders a venti latte with 14 shots of espresso and 2 pumps sf cinnamon dolce....so I know exactly how you feel

I'm still fairly new and today I watched my lead ring up a regular and she got 13 pumps of something with 10 shots and some type of milk. She was pumped. Got off my shift and was driving off and she was at the bus stop waiting for her bus and polishing off the tail end of her drink. Like damn Betsey you didn't even make it 100 feet away with that drink and I guess you'll be wide awake for that bus ride.

I was told they can only get up to a quad shots with rewards if they want more they have to pay 🤷♀️is this true?

I don’t think so?? To be fair this was some years ago, reward policy has been revamped at least a thousand times 😂

Good Lord that would be terrible quality. You let a shot sit 30 seconds and it dies. What would that many take? 15 mins?? Would taste awful

OOF true to be fair, I’d hardly been a seasoned barista at the time. I’d make the same drink today by adding the shots to the milk as I go, but yeah I’d still be there 15min maybe just waiting for the shots to pull 🥵🥵
