Man if I had a dollar for every Starbucks employee that hasn't been trained properly I'd be loaded.

Well if you're so experienced and such a fast learner you shouldnt have any troubles picking it up once you're on your own. After barista basics I had one shift of shadowing.

Calm down, and try to respect someone who surprisingly probably has MORE experience than your 19 years. 3 years in the work force isn't that much. If you're so experienced and smart and fast learning and already know everything, why do you need someone to hold your hand?

Honey. No one is trained properly. The fact that you even have a schedule or formal trainer is a luxury. You need to knock this shit off it's really ugly

i think the way you’re being condescending towards me is really ugly. maybe that’s how your store is ran but i’m under the impression most stores aren’t ran like that. mine definitely isn’t. every other trainee (because like i mentioned there’s a ton of us) are being trained much more thoroughly. so really if you don’t have any positive advice get on with your shit.

I've been with Starbucks for 6 years. In 11 stores. I've been a trainer and in management for 4 of those 6 years. You have been here a week. Please continue to bestow information upon me.

You're "under the impression" of everything. Because you're new. And have no idea what you're doing. If you think you're going to remember every single thing and do everything by the book a year from now, you are sorely mistaken. If you're gonna run to your ASM (btw, not AM) because you arent being *trained* right; I cant imagine what a headache you are to train and work with.

If you spoke to me (a hiring manager, by the way) like the way you spoke in this post, and if you mentioned how smart and experienced you are 18 times like you did in this post, you wouldnt have even been called back.

You have no idea how this job or how this company functions and the fact that your this much of a tightass over nothing, is, in fact; extremely ugly.

But please! What else do I not know? I'm genuinely very curious.

EDIT: and by the grace of God would you look at that! She deleted the post. Because she cant handle the truth and we discover now why she is struggling. Maybe it's not everyone else's fault after all💖
