Congratulations! Starbucks is a great company to work for. Don’t stress out, it can be a lot to take in at once. They say it takes about 3 months to feel completely confident in what you’re doing, so don’t be too hard on yourself! Enjoy it!

Be aggressive with your own training. If there is something you want to learn, go learn it. And no question is a bad question. Questions not only help you, but can help those around you get a refresher. Also have fun, it’s just coffee

I just started too. Something that I have had to ask a lot is how many shots and pumps of syrup go into drinks and make sure to master steaming milk it can be quiet difficult. The only thing that I’m having trouble with is my pay. My Starbucks manger says that I get paid every two weeks but I haven’t gotten payed and it’s been almost four weeks since working at Starbucks. Oh and ask a lot of questions

your payment predicament is a common thing not only with Starbucks but many of businesses. When you first start, depending on the motivations of your payroll person, you likely won't get paid until a month later, but that first paycheck typically holds in it several weeks of back pay.. If it doesn't, then your HR/Payroll person is doing a shit job!
