WIBTA if I get a long term shift fired for bullying? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Throwaway because I know I’m not the only partner at my current store that uses reddit.
I (19F) have this shift at my store who’s a coffee master, 30 yrs old and has been with the company for like 10 years. So she really thinks she’s hot shit. I joined my store as a shift almost a month ago and it has been actual living hell since I started.
She has not been nice to me, not even once. She has physically assaulted me, belittled me on the floor and to customers, broadcasted to my baristas everything I do wrong (when I never received any proper training and she knows that! Im still very much learning), has purposely not done her opening tasks because she knows I’m closing and literally *tells people that*. She has called my baristas “fucking retarded” for not knowing how to give proper change, insulted one of them and said to “be the fuck over it cause it’s a joke”. I have 2 barista currently leaving because of her and 3 of them specifically won’t work mornings in their availability to avoid working with her completely.
I’ve spoken to my manager and she even has said she has had bad run ins with her, and that this shift is just an aversive person. I don’t think that should excuse her behavior, as this is a workplace and she’s down right bullying other partners. Recently I got an approved transfer BECAUSE of this shift, and I’ve been speaking to my district managers and new manager.
After I explained what was happening, they actually told me that I am the THIRD shift to be transferred and describe the same behavior due to this girl. I was blown away, and now because of my “testimony” lol they are launching a full investigation, interviewing all my partners and she is at risk of losing her job.
These steps have not been taken previously because she has always apologized and “changed” and she’s such a great partner by standards and has been with the company for so long. But now my district manager is fed up. If she gets fired, am I the asshole! I work with all her best friends as my fellow shifts and they’re already mean as fuck to me because of her. I can’t imagine how it’ll be if I get her fired :(

You're not the asshole, this person is making the workplace an unnecessarily hostile environment. If they get fired due to their shitty behavior that's on them. They have to face the consequences of their actions, because this job is obviously not worth it for them to be a good coworker.

you are definitely not the asshole, everyone at your store will be so much happier without her. having a similar situation recently i do feel kind of guilty over it (especially because i ended up getting their position...... yikes) but also i just remind myself how terrible of a person they were and how many people quit because of them. you are most definitely NOT the asshole if she does get fired!
