There's not many corporate locations around me actually. I interviewed at one and she mentioned that she could get in trouble for hiring a certain number of people from tarbucks. Then I interviewed at another one Monday and she said she'd get back to me in a few days. Haven't heard anything yet.

All the other ones are a half hour plus drive away and not hiring. I called a few and asked.

By the end of the year I'm hoping to apply for a corporate store cause I'm sick and tired of crying so much because of how slammed I get when I'm by myself for 2+ hours everyday.

Safeway kiosk and I am by myself 6+ hours a day. I CANNOT wait until I have been here a couple of more months and can apply for a real Starbucks😖

I’ve been at a licensed store for about 3 months now and have been trying to switch to corporate for the past month. FINALLY GOT A CALL TODAY AND AN INTERVIEW TOMORROW 😭❤️ I have a lot of hope that I’ll get the job because of my experience as well as a partner number and free/discounted things in general haha I’m excited.

Ah, my old store was a licensed store in a hotel, sucked not having partner numbers but getting super cheap hotel rooms was awesome! Also we got lunch made by the banquets kitchen or random stuff to try from the restaurants (think $$$/$$$$ on OpenTable priced).

I think overall your experience at a licensed store depends entirely on how much the parent company cares about /having/ starbucks as part of their brand.

Yep, work in a tiny little booth kiosk in a grocery store. I used to work in a corporate store though. I do miss the free drink while working. But I do get a small discount on a good portion of my groceries instead.
