A Starbucks Dilemma (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by LonelyCroco
So recently I have joined as a new barista about a month in. (yay!) And will be enrolling in the ASU program ( double yay!!) But at the moment I pay around 600$ a month for rent, but my friend is offering me a free place to stay in Indiana. My main issue is; do I move out of my current living situation and live rent free but possibly at the cost of my job and covered tuition? Thanks in advanced 👍

I'd look into transferring but usually transferring is supposed to be done 6 months in advance but some let you get away with sooner it's all about reaching out to the Starbucks you would want to transfer to

My transfer just took 3 weeks so I would definitely look into that

We have multiple partners transferring at my store and their transfer process is taking two MONTHS. I want to transfer but I can’t wait two months so I’m just staying at my store.

Transfer! I transferred before I hit 6 months at SB, I let my SM know about a month ahead of time, but the actual transfer process only took a couple days. I was moving out of state and had already identified a new store to go to.
