Hey y'all!
I was recently accepted for a barista job and was wondering what normal starting pay was like for y'all so that I could have a better handle on how much I think I should be worth! I'm a 17m high school grad(college bound) in NC with no previous professoional job experience but have done a lot of theatre extracurriculars and volunteering!
Edit: I'm gonna be working in a Starbucks that's its own building.

Min wage in Texas is 7.25/hr and baristas start at 9.50/hr

I would google your cities minimum wage. Pretty sure Starbucks baristas start at minimum wage based on the location and get raises maybe once or twice a year.

Minimum wage where I live is $10.75 and I get paid $10.80 with a raise every three months, not sure how much tho.

Minimum wage where I live is $10.10 but starting pay for baristas is $12/hr (USD)

Starbucks employees do start at minimum wage unless you work at one in another building such as a target/grocery store, mall, etc
