Sooooo I started working In April.... my brother works at a starbucks in the area before i did.... Apparently a lot of bad things are said about my store... my experience here at my store.... a few things that could be better, but i love my team.... but management definitely needs help
pretty sure our dm has came in like 4 times this month
But i did work at a different store to cover, being there a lot of people would have a look on their face every time i said which store im from
like ofc i’ve definitely been pretty good at memorizing a lot.. my manager actually once left me to take cafe, bar, dto.... So multitasking has been a lot easier.
anyways, a few drama problems have been all over the store this month... whats your guys’ store like? 😅
update: Most problems are started by our shift managers talking badly of our crew or even just our manager giving way to many chances to shifts who dont show up for their shift.

Understaffed high volume store mainly staffed by over dramatic teenage girls that like to start rumors and pick fights :)))

my store is also very understaffed (were in need of a new closing shift and we’ve had 5 people quit within 2 months ) the people starting fights in my store are the shifts with each other or with the baristas (the opening shift has the whole world against me and i dont know why)

There is no cattiness at my store anymore thank god. About a year ago there was a huge division between our morning/night crew and it was terrible. I love my fellow shifts and baristas.

My store has nothing but the homies. Hands down the best job I've had. Yah pay could be better but hot damn I love my team.
We even have our own talkshow called starbucks after dark. We just talk mad shit and talk about crazy shit and have fun. We also really help our morning team by giving them a very clean and well stocked store to work in. Still don't get me wrong they still think theres this that and the other thing we should've got done but without a doubt we take great care of our guest and work hard. Ain't gonna be a bitch and let my team down like that because we all respect one and other. More companies should learn to value having a staff that enjoys being around one and other.

My store is awful. We have one shift who literally talks shit about EVERYBODY. She is two faced and doesn’t care who knows it BUT she has our boss convinced that she’s a nice person and she’s a hard worker when in reality she’s evil af and doesn’t do shit. She delegates EVERYTHING. She won’t so trash by herself. She doesn’t do sinks and drains. She bitches when we get busy and she has to help on bar for 10 minutes. That one shift brings down the morale of our store.

Store Morale is really low at both my own store and my friend's store. We're starting to think it's a company wide thing.
Personally, our SM doesn't appreciate her partners as much as she should, makes a big show about it when she does, and is highly unprofessional with call-outs.
