Hey guys, I'm moving to Chicago and wanted to know what the typical wage might be for a new sbux barista. I also wanted to know how flexible they are out there when it comes to wages--i worked for Sbux for four years and wonder if I should push for a bit more than the standard, brand new barista pay.

I live in the city and get paid $12.05, since within city limits the minimum wage right now is $12. I'm not sure about pushing for more though, I've never tried.

I live in suburbs and make $11.30

I also make $11.05 in Schaumburg - Chicago suburb. But getting a raise to $12 starting July 1st I believe
