Blueberry black tea lemonade? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by xoxoellie
New barista here, how exactly do you make the blueberry black tea lemonade in the shaker? I was doing it today and had to think a little. Thanks!

Yup just like old infusions. Tea, then water and blueberry. Your shakers still may be labeled for old infusions, I know mine are. It’s basically mostly black tea, then the rest before the ice is half water and half blueberry, sweetened with liquid cane sugar just like a normal tea. 3/4/6/7 pumps. In my opinion, it doesn’t need the liquid cane sugar because it is already verrrry sweet. But the recipe does call for it. :)

Edit: didn’t realize this said lemonade lol. Lemonade instead of water! Just like normal

they don’t the recipe changed months ago. please don’t add water

Hmm recipe cards at my store definitely say water and is how we were all taught including by store SM 🧐
Edit: of course I’d love to know if my store received inaccurate recipe cards or un updated ones somehow but I’d be surprised if they didn’t have the small splash of water since we all found the flavors so strong. Let me know of course. :)

Recipe cards def say water or lemonade

the juices themselves are supposed to be cut with water in the infusion pitchers. no need to add water after that. also the tea shakers say on them specifically to fill tea to the tea line and infusions all the way to the top of the water line (for infusions) so if you’re saying the new teas are the exact same then that’d be the way to make it. i have work tomorrow and will try posting a picture of the recipe card then.

that’s what i thought, but i wasn’t sure if it changed because this is actually a juice. thanks!

You can check drink recipe card or store iPad, all of summer2 drink recipe card in there too.
It’s like same as old infusion iced tea (w/lemonade) way.

I checked all the recipe cards and asked my SM, they’re definitely supposed to be made with water or lemonade like old infusions. They’re juices so they’re already extra sweet/concentrated similar to refreshers. But not adding water will make it way too sweet.

Not adding water makes them fantastic. Try it

I did lol, but to be fair sweet drinks are not for me. I usually drink plain old cold brew and unsweetened tea. The flavors of the new juices are yummy, but I like them a bit watered down as the recipe calls for :)

Just wondering, would anyone know how much lemonade and blueberry syrup is added to the tea? I wanted to make this at home but wasn’t sure of how much to add 🤷‍♀️
