I have a family event on Saturday and I work from 4 pm until 8 pm. The event starts at 7 pm and the family member requests us to be early. I can’t get anyone to cover. Kinda hate on how I am expected to cover everyone’s shift, yet I can barley get anyone to cover my shifts. Advice?

I ran into this problem so many times that I actually started documenting it, and when the people who consistently refused to return the favour asked me again I’d decline. It sent a very, very obvious message to the entire crew pretty quickly, and now I only pick up shifts for people who have helped me out and have a track record of it. It might be something to start doing for your own sanity.

Maybe. Last I checked, switching was illegal at our district but idk about now.
