Will baristas get mad/displeased if I told them they misheard my order? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Ketsueki
Today I ordered (drive-though) a grande matcha frappe with java chips no whip but ended up receiving a grande java frappe with java chips no whip. I wasn't mad or anything and the line was kind of busy so I decided to keep the drink. Would baristas get mad if I told them they messed up my order? It looked kind of busy so I didn't want them to pause their current customer's orders just to remake mine.

We are trained to happily remake everyone’s order, for any reason. Even if it’s just because everyone did everything correctly and a costumer just doesn’t like the taste. But especially if we misheard your order. I remake people’s drinks all the time and I can sincerely say as long as there not a dick about it I’m happy to do so, mistakes happen all the time and I want people to get something they like. As long as your not rude I’m sure your barista will be happy to remake it for you, it’s an expensive drink and you should get what you want

Yes just order it again as a Green Tea Frappuccino with Java chips.

No cuz it’s our job to make customers happy and we are willing to just remake it it doesn’t take that long

We don't mind remaking a drink, feel free to tell us. Honest mistakes happen all the time and we would much rather you leave with what you wanted.

Everybody has tough times at work sometimes. Even if a barista feels sour, it will be fine (but yeah, most baristas will not mind!)
