It depends on what the other place is offering too.
I.e. Starbucks offers spotify premium, health benefits, ASU online. Also they work with you for things like time off.... its not typically hard to get days off, and if its not scheduled in you can always try to find someone to take the shift, even from surrounding stores if necessary.
Starting pay isnt bad typically, I would weigh it against what the other place is offering.
That said, Starbucks is fast paced at times and extremely customer service oriented. So take that into account too. But I enjoy it, and even though there are plenty of shitty customers, there are also nice ones. And my coworkers are A1.

i think if it’s a corporate starbucks, then it’s quite a good job! other than customers getting angry it’s not too difficult and the starting wage is usually good. starbucks also gives really good benefits like free spotify premium, healthcare, and asu online. but it really just depends on what you want

I work at a steakhouse nights and Starbucks mornings. If the sbux perks are worth lots of hours of working your ass off, and covering the constant call outs, do it. However, bar backs usually get tipped off total sales of the restaurant/bar, combined with an hourly wage, so bar backing is a bit more lucrative. Starbucks seems to pay less than the effort is worth, I find time off much easier to get at the restaurants than sbux, and restaurant jobs generally are extremely easy, compared to learning 200+drinks and dealing with some of the most awful entitled people I’ve ever seen. Hope my input helps! Best of luck either way!
