I had this man come in like fifteen minutes before close, and he made like three separate orders of obscure drinks. That all seems fine and well until i noticed he kept "leaving small tips" (aka putting his hand in the tip jar and probably taking shit). He leaves after getting all of his separate drinks, and then comes back and orders one of each cake pop. My shift hands them to him personally (cause he's being sus), and he says hes going to go back to his car to get me the change that he owes, and walks out with the cake pops. It was only 15 cents and i wasn't confident in him coming back with the change so i took it out of the tip jar and rung up the next order. after about seven minutes he came back inside and gave me 15 cents (which i put in the tip jar) and he asked me for the cake pops. Both me and my shift went on to say that we gave them to him, and he continued to claim that he left them there while he got the change, i told him i saw him eave with the cake pops and even took the rest of his bill out of tips because it seemed like he was skipping out on payment. he started getting loud and almost crying, claiming someone must have took them and that he would never lie and that he'd double check his car and he is an honest man and he "left like $5 in tips" (yeah sure that's why you were short, right?). There was only one customer after him and she saw him leave too. He left and came back after ten minutes with a recording of him walking to and inspecting his car with no cake pops on screen. The shift just gave up and gave them to him and he RAN OUT ALMOST CRYING
