That's how my freezer looks but a lot smaller. We barely have room to move around in and when we get our frozen in it's a pain in the butt.

Yup. In the old days, the distribution center would ship us partially / fully thawed breakfast sandwiches for us to sell. They switched it so we'd receive frozen sandwiches like pastries and then thaw it ourselves.
Honestly, it's good in terms of food waste and efficiency, just not ideal for freezer space or labour.
