Most at our store just say “I’m sorry I don’t know what that is.” If they don’t got a recipe for it, we ain’t making it :) only about 35% of the people that ask for it know the recipe

I feel that on such an emotional level. I’m honestly about to start suggesting that they get just a strawberry acai blended. Since thats all it really is. That extra berries shit makes no sense and just gets stuck up in your teeth.

But you still use basic language skills to sounds them out. They're not spelled differently. Like the word açai I can understand. There's an odd letter in their that most people don't know. But trenta is basic, so is the word blonde.

No ice in a frappuccino...ummm...one of the classic stupid requests customers make. It has to contain ice, otherwise they get just a couple of inches of frap roast, milk, and base.

Yeah I once got an order for a venti strawberry Frappuccino with no ice so I just called the guy over and was like “if I don’t add ice it’s just pink sugary milk... is that what you want?” He looked confused and sheepish and went to talk to his girlfriend. Came back and told me to make it normal. Lol what even. Like there’s a cheaper way to order strawberry milk if that’s really what you want 🙄

I can understand light ice, like you want it one less ice scoop size of ice. Some people like it really liquidy and whatever I don’t care. But no ice at all???? That’s not even going to be a real drink and half the time they end up not liking it cause it warms up quicker and they ask for a remake with ice.

Honestly if someone just wants an iced coffee with some whip or vanilla in it or something, I’m not gonna stiff them for it. But if someone waltzes in and gives me an attitude and a super complicated drink recipe, I’m pulling out all the stops and ringing them up *the proper way*.

Iced coffee the syrup is included in the price...it literally won’t charge extra for syrup. Sauces (WM/M/CH) it will. Exception is nitro: the syrup isn’t included in the cost for that.
All of that is null and void, of course, if you’re in a licensed store. That’s a whole different thing. 😩

I only really stiff ppl for it if it’s multiple syrups (and then I still only hit it once, unless they’re being a brat). The other things I actually ring up properly *every* time are espresso, add juice/lemonade, fruit inclusions, and non-dairy milks.

Omg let me tell u.. today I was on POS and these 3 regulars who are old ladies came for their cappuccinos. For here. Which is fine right? But like, with a handful of ripped open sugar packets and nasty used stir sticks left on the cafe tables along with their dirty ass scrunched up tissues inside the stores ceramics....
I was so tempted to tell _____ to bring the ceramics back to us and clean up after themselves. Ugh. :(

I’ve had a few people order dragon drinks with lemonade in them. I gagged a little while I was making it.
