Sounds like either:

If it’s temporary

-too many people asked off for the holiday

Which is just a rough day

If it’s a recurring problem

-they need to hire more people

-or the SM is mismanaging the store to get bonuses

In which case he should transfer

I get your frustration.
I don’t know which violation is technically worse.
Is one of you a shift and the other a barista or both in the same level? Because that matters more actually.

Oh no this suck ass. Especially if you’re on main bar with one person on register and the other mopping the floors in the morning and shift manager on break. You know you’re not suppose to leave if you’re on main bar so you asked the second person to get you stuff to make drinks. Had a line of cold drinks, no ice. Asked to get ice but asked me to get it. When I didn’t do it, they said they’ll tell the store manager. I’m like ok go ahead, I’ll tell her the same thing I told you
