Do you ever have a shift that goes by so slowly it literally feels like you’ve been there all day. And I mean it literally feels like you woke up early, went to work, and will be going home when the day is already over. The shift isn’t bad, I’m not running into bad customers or accidental messes or anything.

I don’t understand how time can go by so slow some days. Feels like I’ve been here and the 7 year war began and ended and now it’s Christmas time. Like what the even...why????!?! Am I going crazy

I had a morning shift and I was going around doing hella shit and i looked at the clock thinking maybe 2-3 hours had passed, but sadly it had only been 1. So I totally feel you there.

Honestly I felt like that until I got promoted to shift supervisor and now it’s like I’m so stressed about getting everything done it goes by pretty quick 😅

I totally feel this! Most of my stress goes towards making sure my stuff is done and I’m not forgetting about breaks. My store isn’t super busy though so some days if I get everything done early and it’s slow I feel like I’m stuck in hell.

This was me when I worked 2 jobs. I would literally spend the time in between jobs (if I had a break) crying because I was so mentally and physically exhausted. Quitting one of them lifted so much weight off my shoulders and I hope you get to relax soon!!
