Hello fellow Baristas! I need help!
Does anyone know the period of time in which one does not work in the Starbucks to lose their certification as a barista? I was told a week, three months, and one year. I am in a pickle 🤷♀️

As far as I know, I don't think there's a certification that you lose lol.
I think it's up to the SM that's hiring you if they want you to be retrained or not.

I left the company in January of last year, but wasn't separated officially until April, and came back in October. I did have to re-do barista basics and my SM had me shadow a couple baristas, but that was it.

You will definitely have to redo any and all health/safety training though, because that is usually required by the state you're in.
